The power of charcoal

Charcoal is one of my favorites. It feels like drawing and sculpting at the same time ,erasing, layering, and working within the tension between control and accident. It’s raw, physical, and honest.

I also explore storytelling through film and mixed media, creating pieces that make people react;work that feels alive, with movement, gesture, and kinematic potential. I want the image to breathe, to evoke something both kinematic and emotional.
