Siembra Creativa is a living ecosystem for art, culture, and human connection. It is an atelier, a gallery, a classroom, a café, and a refuge—created for those who believe creativity is not a luxury, but a way of living.

Born from the idea that you plant what you want to become, Siembra Creativa exists to nurture artistic growth, emotional honesty, and cross-cultural dialogue. It is a space where art is not only displayed, but shared, questioned, and experienced.

At its core, Siembra Creativa is about process over perfection, community over isolation, and depth over speed.

WHAT HAPPENS HERE

Siembra Creativa will host:

• Original art exhibitions
• Artist talks and intimate workshops
• Drawing, writing, and reflection sessions
• Coffee, books, and curated objects
• Cultural gatherings and collaborations

It is designed as a place to slow down, look deeper, and reconnect with creativity.

ABOUT THE FOUNDER

JORGE ERNESTO RUIZ CANO

Artist • Filmmaker • Storyteller
(Etopepetrueno)

Jorge Ernesto Ruiz Cano is an artist and filmmaker from Maracay, Venezuela, currently based in Los Angeles.

For over 15 years, he has worked across storytelling industries—design, animation, and film—while holding a decade-long career at Walt Disney Animation Studios, contributing to films such as Frozen, Zootopia, Moana, and Encanto. He also teaches animation at CalArts, mentoring the next generation of visual storytellers.

Alongside film, his personal practice lives in charcoal.
Charcoal feels like drawing and sculpting at the same time—a physical dialogue between light, shadow, memory, and emotion. He builds through layers, embracing mistakes as part of the form. Each piece carries its own history.

Each week, he dedicates time to this practice as a form of observation, therapy, and reflection. It is where his work becomes quiet, honest, and human.

From the Earth,

for the body

Siembra Creativa is a casi very responsible creative ecosystem rooted in art, storytelling, and human connection. Each piece begins with observation and is brought to life through gesture, material exploration, and thoughtful craftsmanship—created to be collected, lived with, and felt.

Observaion

Life is the greatest teacher.
A musician mid-performance, a stranger in transit, a fleeting gesture in a café—these moments shape the work.

Storytelling

With roots in animation and visual storytelling, each piece seeks movement, emotion, rhythm, and character.

Craftsmanship

Charcoal, texture, paper, process, and the human hand.
We believe meaningful work carries evidence of its making

Cultural Roots

Venezuelan warmth, Caribbean rhythm, and years of artistic practice inform the spirit of the work.

Responsible Creation

We believe in fewer, better pieces—thoughtfully made, intentionally shared, and created to endure.

Emotion

Agarra algop que te guste.
